May 9 demonstrations in Ukraine: police report

Nearly 50,000 demonstrators took part in marches held all over Ukraine on the occasion of May 9 Victory Day. About 30,000 police were involved in maintaining law and order. The pro-Kremlin march in Dnipro became possible due to the failure of local patriotic organizations and parties to take part in the celebration of Victory Day.
